“I pull things out of the dark that didn’t exist at dawn — ideas given edges, nothing turned into something you can hold.”
Online since 1999
Builder of what isn't there yet.
Since the dial-up days, this has been the late-night signal: the room where the lights stay on long after they should be off. My hypomania runs hot, so it gets release valves, sometimes several open at once: a recording booth, a darkroom, a server room, a notebook full of fiction, poetry and lyrics. Some call me a poet, but the poems do the talking. Coaching lives here too, and the books are open. Tune in and stay a while.
A field, still being drawn
One restless imagination, several outlets: words, sound, image, and code, all answering to the same stubborn muse.
“I pull things out of the dark that didn’t exist at dawn — ideas given edges, nothing turned into something you can hold.”
“I test the fence before I climb it, and ask who built it and why. Rules are a first draft; I keep a red pen.”
“I’d rather walk my own crooked line than march someone else’s straight one. The off-ramp is where it gets interesting.”
“I speak to machines in patient logic, and they answer in systems — quiet architectures that wake up and work.”
“Everything I make is a little bit painting: color, rhythm, negative space. Function is the canvas; beauty is not optional.”
“Show me a wall and I’ll look for the window, the tunnel, the ladder — or a reason the wall should move.”
“A frame that stops time, a chord that bends it, a story that rewires me. I collect the moments that make the world feel larger.”
“I recharge in the quiet, then step out and get things done. Solitude is my workshop; the world gets the finished work.”
“My body is an experiment I run with care — tuning sleep, chemistry and energy, chasing a sharper, longer, better version of me.”
My original songs and videos, written, made and released here first. No covers, no borrowed voices.

Desktop applications for Windows. Clear interfaces, local files, and software that can stand on its own.

Teams of AI agents that split a task, review one another, and return work a person can use.

Web platforms on Azure and Cloudflare: public sites, private homes, and the routes between them.

Automation that joins tools you already use, so repeat work runs without someone watching it.

Apps with opinions, sized for a pocket. Small glass, loud point of view, quiet chrome.

Pixels that behave, and layouts that plot. The finest interface is the one that steps aside.

A senior pair of hands on business applications, enterprise services, and the joinery when two IT estates become one.

A runbook, a go or no-go, and hypercare already waiting when the switch is thrown. The launch keeps a script.

Small tools, automations, and spreadsheet systems built to the shape of the job. Repeat work clocks out. The sheet stays on.
For people already doing well who suspect they could be dangerous.
Not taking new clients. Referrals only.
The biological clock, argued with. Sleep, focus, and training as a personal practice — not medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.
The chair outweighs the title. Calm judgment for new directors, and the rooms that suddenly listen.
Strength, supper, and sleep in the same conversation. A practice for vigor — not medical care or treatment.
Words before the music, or instead of it. Quiet on the page, loud in the head.
Stories with a crooked grin and a clean landing. A voice, a bend, a last line that was waiting.
Lines hired to sing for their supper. If the melody will not carry it, the line stays home.
Short poems, long echo. They leave, and the quiet stays louder.
Tools to help simplify your life, so you can enjoy more of it.
Software renewals, notice deadlines, seat counts and device warranties live on one spreadsheet instead of in somebody's memory. The dashboard shows what is overdue and what renews in the next 30, 60 or 90 days, so a renewal date never springs a surprise auto-renewal. No macros; it opens in Excel 2010+ and Google Sheets.

The same renewal tracker, now fully bilingue. Every sheet name, header, dropdown, status and instruction is in English and French, starting from a bilingual Start Here sheet. A notice deadline is easy to miss in any language, and this keeps it from being missed in either.

A cutover runbook in Excel that does its own arithmetic: timings calculate from durations and predecessors. Go/no-go checkpoints, rollback steps, a hypercare tracker, a one-page daily status and a contacts and comms plan are all included. Go-live weekend gets a plan, and the plan gets a plan B.

Risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies go in one log instead of four inboxes. A 5x5 heat map counts the ratings entered but doesn't score risk or make the call. Action, decision and change logs, a RACI, a stakeholder register and a lessons log come along for the RAID.
Coming soon

A steering committee deck (9 slides) and a weekly status deck (7 slides) that keep the steer in SteerCo. RAG chips are set by hand against a colour-key slide, the milestone timeline has a movable Today line, and a minutes template catches the decisions before they drift off. Calibri throughout, no stock images.

Cutover & Hypercare, RAID & Governance and SteerCo all come in one box, dressed in one neutral style. Each folder has its own quick start, and nothing hides a macro. It takes a project from go-live plan to governance to Friday status without a scavenger hunt for templates.
